How do Skool levels and points work?
On Skool you earn one point every time another member likes one of your posts, comments or replies, and points move you through nine levels within that group: level 2 at 5 points, level 3 at 20, level 4 at 65, level 5 at 155, level 6 at 515, level 7 at 2,015, level 8 at 8,015 and level 9 at 33,015. Levels are per group, so you start at level 1 in every new community. Group admins can lock a course or an event behind a level, which is why some classroom items show as locked when you join; you unlock them by contributing, not by paying more.
Points
- Earned when others like your posts, comments and replies. One like, one point, to the author.
- Your level shows next to your name and on your profile.
- Points and levels are per group. Level 4 in one community means nothing in another; every group starts you at level 1.

Locked courses
Admins can set a level unlock on any course or event. Members see it in the classroom with a lock and the level required; reach that level and it opens. A second kind of lock, access-locked, is for bonus content that needs an action or a separate payment, with the details usually in the group's pinned posts. Admins always have access to everything.
